Popularly called one of New York City's most effective mayors of all time, September 11 cemented Rudy Giuliani as a leader in many people's minds and hearts. In fact, it's difficult to imagine that this book would have been called Leadership -- or been quite so popular -- had September 11 never occurred.

Not long ago Sue Grafton was quoted saying she now felt compelled to finish her alphabet series of mysteries starring Grafton's well-loved sleuth, Kinsey Millhone. When Q Is For Quarry becomes available on October 14th, Grafton fans will be saddened to note there are now only nine more books to look forward to.

If you believe that a good dose of estrogen will only add to the mix when it comes to home repair, Julie Sussman has your number. And, apparently, you're not alone: Sussman's Dare to Repair sails to #7 on the January list this week.

Supreme success -- and perhaps slight pudginess -- have driven Jamie Oliver to get dressed and write yet another bestselling book. This time we're treated to the view from Jamie's Kitchen which isn't, as you'd expect, in his home (though he's covered that topic well in previous books) but the kitchen of yet another Oliver-inspired restaurant.

Despite the no-nonsense title, The Murder Book is Jonathan Kellerman's 16th novel in the acclaimed Alex Delaware series. Those that loved Detective Milo Sturgis in previous outings will love this book.

According to author Jane Leavy, don't simply admire Sandy Koufax because he was the greatest southpaw pitcher in the history of baseball. Love him because he was a sports hero worthy of the title. It seems likely that Sandy Koufax will be this year's Seabiscuit.

There's seriously nothing that will give a 21-year-old book a kick back to the bestseller lists like a blockbuster movie. In this case, the book in question is Red Dragon. Author Thomas Harris has also given us the Hannibal Lecter-driven tomes The Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal. The film version of Red Dragon, directed by Brett Ratner (Rush Hour, Rush Hour 2, The Family Man), stars Anthony Hopkins, Edward Norton, Ralph Fiennes and Harvey Keitel.

Bruce Wilkinson has started a franchise that won't stop. The author of The Prayer of Jabez launches his latest installment to applause with A Life God Rewards, debuting in 20th position on the January list, here's betting this one sticks around for a while.
